DM Plastics & Steel supplied and managed delivery of 5 km of DN500 and DN280 Metric Cream Stripe SDR11 PN16 polyethylene pipe in 12 m straight lengths for the Grand Trunkway upgrade in Gillman. Deliveries were executed across 10 trailers, with DMP&S managing all site logistics including staged deliveries along the pipeline and crane unloading on site for each stage. All material was supplied on time and in full (OTIF) to meet installation schedules, and the project was completed with zero incidents recorded.
This work formed part of SA Water’s Grand Trunkway / Port Adelaide rising main replacement and wastewater network upgrade. SA Water’s program includes installing a new sewer rising main along Grand Trunkway and adjacent roads to improve long‑term reliability of the sewer network and minimise community disruption through staged logistics and trenchless methods.
The project was delivered for SA Water as principal client, with DM Plastics & Steel providing full transport coordination, on‑site handling and compliance oversight to align with the broader construction program and safety requirements.
