DM Plastics & Steel were awarded the supply and delivery of 38 km of metric polyethylene pipe for the Angle Vale Rising Main project. Scope included multi‑diameter pipe in SDR13.6 PN12.5 (DN140, DN160, DN225, DN250 and DN280), supplied in long straight lengths to optimise transport and installation efficiency. DMP&S managed all freight to site and executed staged deliveries across more than 40 trailers, coordinating logistics to match installation sequencing and site access constraints.
The project forms part of a broader privately delivered wastewater infrastructure scheme in Angle Vale, led by a South Australian‑based specialist utility company delivering design, construction, operation and ownership of the treatment and sewerage network to service new and growing residential communities. The Angle Vale scheme has been developed to unlock significant housing capacity in Adelaide’s north — providing a permanent sewer solution and supporting thousands of new allotments by avoiding lengthy road‑transport of sewage to distant treatment plants.
DM Plastics & Steel supplied all pipe and managed freight to site, providing full transport coordination, staged deliveries and on‑site handling to align with the project program and site safety requirements. The size of the supply (38 km) and the scale of the logistical operation underscore DMP&S’s capability to deliver large, complex water infrastructure contracts for both public and private clients.
