Coordinating multiple utility trades in a single trench or pit adds cost and complexity. We advise on coil-versus-straight length deployment strategies and supply companion PE mains for potable, recycled water, sewer and fire services alongside conduit, so pits can be completed in a single pass.
Long linear works risk excessive joints, welds and installation time. Straight lengths up to 20m and continuous coil lengths in smaller diameters reduce weld count, speeding up installation across subdivisions, road and rail corridors.
Misidentified services during tie-ins and handover create safety and compliance risk. Colour-coded metric pipe (blue, yellow, cream, red, lilac, black) and co-extruded conduit (orange electrical, white communications) provide unambiguous service identification throughout construction and maintenance.
Non-standard specifications don't always fit the standard catalogue. Our in-house R&D and engineering team can tailor products and formats beyond the catalogue to suit unique alignments, thermal conditions and installation methods.
Large-scale civil programs need proven delivery certainty, not just product supply. DMP&S has delivered civil and government-backed programs on time and in full — including 12km of DN400 pipe for the Bolivar-to-Buckland Park wastewater project with SA Water, and 48km of coiled Lo-Heat pipe for the Western Access Road upgrade at Woomera.

What standards do your pressure pipes meet for civil use?

All metric pressure pipe is manufactured in accordance with AS/NZS:4130, colour-coded for application, and produced under WaterMark certification within our ISO 9001 quality system.

What pressure classes and sizes are available?

Standard classes span PN4–PN25 (SDR41-SDR7.4) with diameters from 16mm to 630mm. Project-specific lengths and MOQ-based specials are available on request.

Can you supply longer straight lengths/coils to minimise joints?

Yes—straight lengths up to 20m (application dependent) and long coils in smaller sizes help accelerate installation and reduce weld count. We coil PE pipe up to 160mm in diameter.

Do you stock fittings for rapid installation?

We provide a full suite of compression and electrofusion adaptors, elbows, joiners and reducers, with fabricated/moulded fittings and backing rings.

What about non-pressure conduits for electrical and comms?

We manufacture and supply PE conduit solutions to support Communications & Electrical works as part of our established industry groups. Speak with us about orange co-ex electrical and white co-ex communications requirements for compliance and visibility.

Do you have relevant approvals and memberships?

Yes—ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO Type 5, WaterMark, and engagement with the Civil Contractors Federation. SA Water approval also applies to designated products.

Can you help with production specification and PN selection?

Absolutely. Our engineering team can review your duty, temperature and surge conditions to recommend PN class, colour coding, and installation format (coil vs straight length) for program and whole-of-life performance.
