Plumbing and gas work is regulated and standards-driven. HDPE is widely adopted for pressure applications, manufactured to AS/NZS:4130 standards with WaterMark for plumbing compliance. Fusion-welded joining (butt welded or electrofusion) delivers fully sealed systems for water and gas. PE is also well-suited to trenchless installation methods that minimise surface disruption.
PE pressure pipe is manufactured to AS/NZS:4130 and ISO Type 5 for pressure applications. For plumbing uses, WaterMark certification applies. Gas networks typically specify yellow HDPE SDR11 with fusion jointing.
Rural “B” (green-stripe), Rural Cool (white co-ex), LDPE, fencing, Polpro risers and windmill products deliver end-to-end stock water and station solutions. ID-sized rural coils, metric PE (potable and recycled water), compression fittings and LDPE options (black, lilac co-ex, white co-ex) support efficient irrigation network builds — with long coils throughout that decrease joints and fittings, reduce installation times and labour costs, and minimise product wastage.
