DM Plastics & Steel has been supplying Australian farms, stations and pastoral operations for more than 40 years. Our products are designed for heat, distance and tough conditions, with a focus on reducing install time, lowering maintenance, and keeping water moving where it matters. All products are manufactured locally in Adelaide and backed by our ISO 9001 quality framework, in-house testing and a culture built around fast supply and practical solutions.
GREEN AG 850 – PE Rural Pipe A green stripped, dependable rural coil solution made from quality PE virgin material and ID-sized to suit standard rural fittings.
Rural Kool (White Co-Ex, Lo-Heat) A reflective white outer skin reduces heat absorption for exposed lines. Ideal for:
Project Coils – Max Efficiency for Long Runs For long distances we offer Premium GREEN AG™ Project Coils. These maximise transport utilisation, reduce fittings, and cut installation time. Unreeling equipment is available for hire on request.
A complete range of stock-safe, durable polyethylene fencing components:
Designed to reduce injury risk, resist rust and make fencing installs time efficient.
Threaded and unthreaded polypropylene risers in BSP sizes from 15mm–75mm, supplied in lengths suited to:
Special lengths available on request, subject to minimum production quantities.
Heavy-duty windmill components designed for long service life:
Long thread engagement, reduced vibration, and proven performance across Australia.
A full range of couplers, tees, elbows, reducers and adaptors for fast, tool-free joints on rural pipe systems — no glue, heat or welding equipment required, ideal for quick repairs and extensions in the field.
Long distances between water points mean more joins, more labour, more leak points. Our Premium GREEN AG™ Project Coils are supplied in large-format lengths designed to minimise fittings, joints and installation time — with unreeling equipment available for hire to speed up long-run installs.
Extreme heat causes thermal expansion and warmer stock water on exposed lines. Rural Kool’s reflective white co-ex outer skin reduces heat absorption, helping control thermal movement and keep water cooler for livestock.
Standard fencing hardware corrodes, rusts or injures livestock over time. Our Polylok™ and Maxi Poly-Droppers are non-corrosive and colour-coded (black, white, orange) to suit different stock and visibility needs, reducing injury risk and maintenance.
Windmill systems can suffer vibration, wear and “bottoming” after seasonal changes. Rotolock stabilisers centralise and steady the column, and the Pull-Rod Top Adjuster allows stroke height to be fine-tuned at the pitman arm, helping prevent bottoming breakage.
Remote and rural buyers need fast, reliable supply and support, not just product. As an Australian manufacturer backed by ISO 9001 quality control and in-house testing, we supply nationally with practical, real-world advice from a team that understands on-farm conditions.
Use Rural Kool for exposed above-ground runs where heat build-up matters — for example long stock water lines. The reflective white skin helps keep water cooler and reduces thermal expansion.
Rural “B” (green-stripe), Rural Cool (white co-ex), LDPE, fencing, Polpro risers and windmill products deliver end-to-end stock water and station solutions. ID-sized rural coils, metric HDPE (potable and recycled water), compression fittings and LDPE options (black, lilac co-ex, white co-ex) support efficient irrigation network builds — with long coils throughout that decrease joints and fittings, reduce installation times and labour costs, and minimise product wastage.
End-to-end vineyard solutions combining metric/rural PE mains and LDPE laterals with our specialist accessories: Steel Vinstakes & extension posts, Prudent™ trellis clip system, poly wire-ties, bird-net caps and supports. Designed for long service life, UV stability and quick installation across new plantings and renewals, with valves and fittings to suit block layouts and pump configurations.
Metric PE families (potable, sewer, recycled water, fire mains) and non-pressure conduit for trench/open-cut and trenchless programs; full fittings suite for constructability.
Metric PE including plain black and white co-ex for dewatering, process water and trunklines, with fabricated fittings and backing rings for site assemblies.
Metric PE (blue/black), gas yellow, sewer and fire mains, with compression/electrofusion fittings and QA support.
Orange co-ex electrical, white co-ex communications and sub-duct HDPE conduit for cable protection in linear and urban works.
