Use approved PTFE tape or a suitable pipe thread sealant compatible with polyethylene and your fluid service. Apply sealant sparingly and avoid overtightening which can damage polymer threads.
Our threaded fittings are produced to align with PE dimensional requirements and where applicable are manufactured to AS/NZS 4129. WaterMark approval is available on specific potable water transition items — check the product datasheet.
Keep fittings in original packaging, out of direct sunlight and protected from contaminant exposure. Store off the ground on pallets to avoid deformation and prolonged UV exposure.
